Dr. Lee joined the Rosen College of Hospitality Management in August 2010. Prior to joining the University of Central Florida, she taught HTM 241 Managerial Accounting and Financial Management in the Service Industries at Purdue University. She received her Ph.D. and M.S. in the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Purdue University, as well as a Master of Financial Management in the School of Finance and Applied Statistics at the Australian National University.
Dr. Lee is a native of South Korea where she obtained her B.S. in Food Science and Nutrition from Kyungpook National University, and is a registered dietitian in South Korea. Her industry work experience includes hotel management and restaurant management in Australia. Her research interest is foodservice management, financial management, and human resource management.
Dr. Lee has published several articles in scholarly journals such as The Cornell Hospitality Quarterly, The International Journal of Hospitality Management, Journal of Foodservice Business Research, Event Management, The Journal of Hospitality Marketing & Management, and The Journal of Environmental Health. Her professional affiliations include the International Council on Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Education (CHRIE) and the Association of Hospitality Financial Management Educators.
