Mr. Tom Barr
Mr. Barr is a faculty member with Cooperative Education guiding Rosen students in career development. He holds a Master’s in Guidance and Counseling degree from Louisiana Tech University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UCF.
With the Viet Nam draft lottery in full force, Mr. Barr entered the Air Force immediately after graduation. During his 27 year career, he held leadership roles in Air Force Morale, Welfare and Recreation. At the completion of his military career, he was Director of Hospitality Programs for food service, lodging and associated MWR programs for 18 stateside and overseas bases.
Upon returning to Central Florida, Mr. Barr served as a private counselor providing corporate and individual outplacement support and later joined the staff with UCF Career Services.
