August 2024 to June 2025

The UCF Center for the Study of Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery at Rosen College has built on its momentum with another year of growth and impact. More than 6,300 students have now been trained to recognize and report trafficking in hospitality, and the Center has strengthened community prevention through youth leader programs and awareness events. Globally, new partnerships with ECPAT International advanced industry-specific training for tour guides, while locally, the student group Knights of the RELM earned national recognition at the Liberator Awards. From impactful conferences to expanded collaborations, the Center continues to drive change in the fight against modern slavery.

January 2023 to July 2024

The UCF Center for the Study of Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery at Rosen College has made remarkable strides in its mission to combat human trafficking. Over the past year, the Center has educated over 5,700 students on recognizing and reporting trafficking in the hospitality industry and expanded its global partnerships with more than 20 countries. From significant research studies to impactful workshops, the Center is leading change in the fight against modern slavery.
