For medical services when the on campus clinic is closed, please call the Main Rosen Medical Center at 407-996-4554 to schedule an appointment or to be triaged. (Friday hours of operation at the main Rosen Medical Center are 7:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.)

For afterhours medical services call:

Faq’s

All Rosen College of Hospitality Management students who are currently enrolled in the College are eligible to use the Rosen College Clinic.

Students are encouraged to call for an appointment, but walk-ins are always welcome.. The Rosen College Clinic is located in the student housing Building 905, Room 112. Non-residential students can access the clinic through the Housing Community office.

If you need immediate medical attention after hours, we recommend using one of the area Urgent Care facilities or the nearest hospital. The closest hospital to the Rosen College campus is Dr. Phillips Hospital, located at 9400 Turkey Lake Rd, Orlando · 407.351.8500

In case of emergency, call (or ask someone to call) 911 to dispatch rescue personnel immediately.

Most of your medical care as a Rosen student will be provided by an advanced registered nurse practitioner, who is able to diagnose and treat most common physical health problems and prescribe medications.

Prescriptions written by the nurse practitioner can be filed at any local pharmacy.

There are no visit fees for using the Rosen College Clinic. Your UCF Health Fee covers free Healthcare Provider visits; however there maybe additional charges for procedures, laboratory testing, and /or medications. Any potential charges will be disclosed to the student prior to any billable procedure, testing, and/or medication administration.

Fees are due at time of service. Fees are subject to change.

All immunizations should be given in accordance with the recommendations of the United States Public Health Service, Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (http://www.cdc.gov).
What additional vaccinations are important?

Influenza vaccinations are available each fall starting in October. This vaccine is highly recommended for students living in residence halls and students with chronic health problems. Also recommended are the Hepatitis A series, the HPV vaccine (Gardasil), and the varicella (chicken pox) vaccine. All Immunizations and vaccinations are offered at the RCC.

Students can visit the Healthcare Provider for contraceptive counseling. If hormonal contraception (birth control pills, the Depo Provera injection, or Nuva Ring) is desired, a Well Woman Visit/Consultation can be scheduled at the RCC or record of a normal GYN examination from another physician, performed within the past 12 months, is required.
