Dick Pope Sr. Institute November 2018 Research Colloquium
November’s Dick Pope Sr. Institute for Tourism Studies Research Colloquium featured outstanding and engaging presentations by UCF Rosen College Assistant Professors Dr. Xiaoxiao Fu and Dr. Wei Wei. In attendance were members of the Orlando Tourism Industry, interested academics from UCF’s main campus, and UCF Rosen faculty, leadership, and Graduate students.
Dr. Fu led with the Colloquium’s first presentation “Bridging Motivation and Satisfaction with a Heritage Destination: the Mediating Role of Destination Attributes and Tourist Involvement.” Dr. Wei then presented “Virtual Reality Use in Tourism Marketing and Experience Management.” Each presenter took questions and comments following each presentation.
UCF Rosen/Dick Pope Sr. Institute for Tourism Studies Research Colloquium presentations are scheduled four times per semester on Friday afternoons, usually the first Friday of each month, and are open to all interested parties from academia, Industry, government, and the public.
