About the School: Experience Leadership Reimagined

The Universal School of Experience Leadership and Innovation represents a new approach to education in immersive and experience-driven industries, where academic learning is directly connected to industry practice.

Rather than treating design, storytelling, marketing, and operations as separate disciplines, the school brings them together as a unified way of thinking about how experiences are communicated and delivered.

Students move through a connected learning journey that begins with design thinking, developing the ability to approach experiences through creativity, problem-solving, and audience-centered strategy.

They then explore how those experiences connect with audiences, developing skills in storytelling, brand strategy, and engagement across global platforms.

Finally, students build the leadership and operational capabilities required to bring experiences to life at scale, with a focus on team leadership, guest experience, and operational execution.

Through this integrated approach and close collaboration with Universal Destinations & Experiences, students are not only studying the future of immersive and experience-driven industries, they are actively preparing to shape it.

Industry Partnership with Universal Destinations & Experiences

The Universal School of Experience Leadership and Innovation is developed in close collaboration with Universal Destinations & Experiences, bringing direct industry perspective into academic learning.

This partnership builds on a decades-long relationship between Rosen College and Universal, with more than 20 years of collaboration that has created a strong talent pipeline and hands-on learning opportunities for students.

Today, that foundation evolves into a deeper academic partnership that connects classroom learning with real-world practice through curriculum input from industry leaders, executive engagement through workshops and mentorship, and applied learning opportunities grounded in current challenges across immersive and experience-driven industries.

Students gain exposure to how large-scale experience organizations operate, how guest experiences are designed and managed, and how creative, operational, and strategic decisions are made in real time.

This ensures learning is not only academically rigorous but also directly aligned with evolving industry needs.

This collaboration with Universal Destinations & Experiences represents our mission at its best, creating an environment where students are learning in direct connection with the people and ideas shaping the future of immersive experiences.”
