The Graduate Certificate in Hospitality & Tourism Technologies provides knowledge and information that facilitate the effective use of existing and emerging technologies in the marketing and management of hospitality and tourism products, services, experiences and electronic channels of distribution.

Please note: The graduate certificate in Hospitality & Tourism Technologies program may be completed online, although not all elective options or program prerequisites may be offered online. Newly admitted students choosing to complete this program exclusively via UCF Online classes may enroll with a reduction in campus-based fees.

MS in Themed Experience

The Master of Science in Themed Experience is designed to teach the unique creative skills, processes and concepts utilized to design and produce themed environments such as theme parks, zoos, aquariums, themed retail, dining, museums, virtual worlds and exhibitions. A brand new program at UCF, the MS in Themed Experience will be offered beginning Fall 2021. With a unique location in Orlando — the international hub of the themed entertainment industry — this program provides you with an unprecedented opportunity for internships and collaboration with industry. MS IN TRAVEL TECHNOLOGY AND ANALYTICS

The interdisciplinary Master of Science in Travel Technology and Analytics, offered jointly by the College of Engineering and Computer Science (Departments of Computer Science; Industrial Engineering and Management Systems; Civil, Environmental, and Construction Engineering) and the Rosen College of Hospitality Management (Departments of Tourism, Events, and Attractions; Hospitality Services), introduces graduate students to the technical aspects of big data analytics, including predictive analytics, algorithm design and models for SMART-cities, SMART-technologies and travel systems, and service systems quality engineering, in the specific context of global travel and tourism. Ph.D. Student News

 

Congratulations to Karima Lanfranco (pictured left) who won a $2,500 American Hotel & Lodging Educational Foundation (AHLEF) Scholarship to continue for her graduate studies. Karima has completed her second year of her Ph.D. program, with a research focus in lodging management, service quality, and organizational behavior. She is planning to take her candidacy exams in fall 2019, with an expected graduation date of Summer 2020.

 

 

Ph.D. Student Trishna Gajjar recently received the Emerging Scholar Award at the Seventeenth International Conference on Diversity in Organizations, Communities & Nations. Read more.
