Michael Costanzo is an Academic Success Coach at UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management.
Mr. Costanzo has been involved in higher education since his first year as an undergraduate at Ramapo College of New Jersey. During this time, he took on various roles, including Peer Advisor, Peer Facilitator, Orientation Leader, Transfer Advisor Intern, and President of his fraternity, Kappa Sigma. His passion for these positions motivated him to pursue a career in Higher Education. He earned a Master of Arts degree in Higher Education Administration from Montclair State University, where he also worked as a Graduate Assistant to the Assistant Dean of the Graduate School.
After earning his master’s degree, he moved to Florida and began his career as an Academic Advisor II at the College of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Central Florida. Following a year in that role, he joined the Walt Disney Company as a Program Experience Associate for Disney Programs, supporting Disney College, Culinary, International, and Internship Programs. After making a significant impact on the program and its participants, Mr. Costanzo was eager to return to the University of Central Florida as an Academic Success Coach, where he continues to help students achieve their goals and dreams.
When Michael isn’t providing motivation and resources to empower students to achieve their academic goals, you can find him enjoying one of the many fantastic theme parks or golf courses in the Central Florida area. He’s also a big fan of Cleveland sports, so you might catch him watching the game!
