UCF Rosen College Student Connects Global Audience to Paris 2024

ORLANDO, Fla. – Brooke Taylor, a standout student at UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management, is making waves as a social media coordinator intern for the 2024 Paris Olympics. Majoring in entertainment management with a minor in digital media and a certificate in managing sporting events, Taylor is set to graduate in 2025. Currently, she is based at NBC Sports headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, where she plays a crucial role in bringing the excitement of the Olympics to fans worldwide.

Taylor’s internship involves crafting engaging content and executing innovative social media strategies to connect with the global audience of the Games. “It’s been an amazing experience to be part of the excitement of the Olympics,” Taylor said. “I’ve been diving into social media strategies and learning a lot about how to connect with fans around the world.”

NBC’s coverage of the Paris 2024 Olympics is extensive, featuring over 150 commentators and numerous celebrity hosts, including Mike Tirico, Michael Phelps, Kelly Clarkson, and Snoop Dogg. As part of the NBC Sports social media team, Taylor helps amplify the reach and impact of these star-studded commentators by ensuring their moments and the athletes’ stories are engagingly presented on social platforms. “Being part of the team that helps share these exciting Olympic moments with the world is truly inspiring,” Taylor said.
