UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management will turn up the volume on career opportunities with “Career Fest,” this semester’s signature career fair. Inspired by the energy of a live music festival, this event will bring students and employers together for a day of networking and career exploration across a variety of industries on October 28, 2026.
Behind the scenes, students in Rosen College’s Event Operations class have spent the past 10 weeks planning this career fair. As part of Associate Instructor Steven Brinkman’s Event Operations class, they’ve taken on the planning and coordination that goes into organizing a large-scale event, including marketing, securing sponsorships, and procurement.
Career Fest will offer students more than just a chance to meet employers. Attendees can step into the spotlight with professional headshots, visit a resume workshop, and connect with more than 80 employers representing hotels, resorts, restaurants, theme parks, cruise lines, entertainment, and many other industries.
CareerFest will take the stage from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Rosen College, and will give UCF students and alumni the chance to explore internships, part time positions, and full-time career opportunities. Attendees should come dressed professionally, bring copies of their resumes, and be prepared to discuss their skills and career goals with employers.
With only a few days until the event, the student organizers are putting the finishing touches on Career Fest and can’t wait to welcome students, alumni, and industry employers to Rosen College.
The event is supported by Freeman, Marriott International, and Walt Disney Swan and Dolphin Resort, providing Rosen College students with strong industry connections and exclusive professional opportunities.
