Our neighborhood is changing, and so are we.

There’s something exciting happening around every corner of Rosen College—from brand-new resorts and theme parks to local eats and entertainment just steps away. As the hospitality scene in our neighborhood grows, so does the energy on our campus. We’re refreshing our spaces, upgrading for the future, and continuing to create an environment that blends learning with real-world opportunity. And thanks to support from industry partners and generous donors, Rosen College is getting a glow-up of its own. Just beyond our campus gates, our neighborhood is booming with opportunity. Universal’s Epic Universe is rising in our own backyard (and opens in May 22, 2025!), alongside new Loews Hotels and an ever-expanding network of world-class attractions, restaurants, and resorts. ICON Park continues to evolve as a hub for dining and entertainment, offering our students a front-row seat to the future of the industry. Universal Epic Universe

Opening May 22, 2025, right in our backyard! Epic Universe Universal Orlando Resort’s latest and most innovative theme park to date. With brand-new lands, rides, and entertainment, it’s an exciting addition to the neighborhood and a major opportunity for students who want to turn a love of theme parks into a career.

Loews Hotels

Stella Nova, Terra Luna, and Helios Grand: these three new resorts are officially open and part of the expanding Universal Orlando area. Whether you’re into luxury service, guest experience, or event planning, these hotels give you a front-row seat to what hospitality looks like in the real world.

SeaWorld Orlando

SeaWorld’s newest ride, Expedition Odyssey, is opening soon! Just a few minutes from campus, SeaWorld is more than a theme park. It’s a place where Rosen College students can explore career paths and gain hands-on experience.

ICON Park

ICON Park is a go-to for big views and good food. With the return of Blue Man Group and new spots always popping up, it’s the perfect place to relax, meet friends, or get inspired by how entertainment and tourism work together.

The Pointe Orlando

There’s always something happening at The Pointe. With new spots like Sports & Social and PBR Cowboy Bar, it’s a great place to grab food, catch up with friends, or check out how hospitality plays out in the real world. Just a few minutes from campus, it’s one of those places where fun and future career ideas go hand in hand.

Live! at The Pointe

Looking for something different? Live! at The Pointe has added Activate Games, Sandbox VR, Zukka Sushi, and more. It’s a mix of gaming, dining, and cool experiences that remind you hospitality is about more than hotels.

Orange County Convention Center

One of the largest convention centers in the country is getting even bigger. Located just minutes from campus, it’s where major events happen and where many of our students get real-world experience while still in school.

New Dining Options

Whether you’re in a hurry between classes or looking for a go-to lunch spot, our neighborhood has you covered. Chipotle is now open across the street, Raising Cane’s is coming soon, and a new W Hotel with upscale dining is on the way!
