Giovanna Guidicelli is the Director of Internships at the University of Central Florida’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management. An accomplished hospitality and talent development leader, she brings more than 25 years of industry experience, including over two decades with the Marriott brands including The Ritz-Carlton and Marriott Vacations Worldwide in their corporate headquarters. Throughout her career, she has specialized in leadership development, talent acquisition, higher education partnerships, and internship program creation, helping connect emerging professionals with meaningful career opportunities. Her hospitality career includes opening new properties, serving on task force teams at multiple locations across the country, and leading initiatives that strengthen both organizational culture and workforce development.

Giovanna is passionate about fostering student success through experiential learning and industry engagement. Her commitment to education is complemented by a lifelong involvement in the arts. In addition to her appreciation for theatre, film, music, and dance, she has contributed to film productions, festivals, and theatrical performances throughout her life. She believes the creativity, collaboration, storytelling, and human connection cultivated through the arts enrich the hospitality profession and help shape the next generation of industry leaders. In her role at Rosen College, she looks forward to building partnerships with hospitality professionals and organizations around the world, creating opportunities that connect industry expertise with the talented students who will become the future leaders of hospitality. A proud UCF alumna, Giovanna holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from the Rosen College and a Master of Science in Management with a focus on Human Resources from the College of Business.
