Teisa Brown is a strategic servant leader and operational architect who believes that at the heart of every great institution is the art of connection. With a career spanning over 30 years, Teisa has dedicated herself to the intersection of operational excellence and transformative leadership, bringing a warm, people-centered approach to high-level administration. 

As Executive Assistant to the Dean at the UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management, Teisa serves as a vital bridge for the Dean’s Office. She translates visionary goals into a supportive, day-to-day reality for the college’s vibrant community of faculty and staff members. In her role, she oversees the strategic management of the office and mentors a professional administrative team, ensuring that every operation is handled with clarity, grace, and institutional trust. 

Teisa’s professional journey is rooted in some of the nation’s most prestigious academic environments, including the University of Pennsylvania, Villanova University, Drexel University, Haverford College, and the Rollins College. Throughout these roles, she has been a trusted partner to executive leadership, engineering the systems and governance that allow academic communities to thrive. 

Her deep commitment to excellence is further evidenced by her completion of the New Strategies Program at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and her Certificate in Fundraising from Villanova University. Teisa serves on the board for a prominent non-profit in Philadelphia, where she helped lead a landmark $18.5 million capital campaign to establish a community impact center, a testament to her ability to weave together public and private partnerships to serve a greater good. 

What truly defines Teisa is her unique concept of “community translation”, the rare ability to take high-level strategy and turn it into meaningful, measurable impact for people. Grounded in her theological studies, Teisa brings a profound depth of empathy, operational rigor, and purpose-driven care to UCF Rosen College, honored to support a community that serves the global hospitality industry with both excellence and heart.
