Experiential Learning

From the Classroom to Industry

The Experiential Learning curriculum requires Rosen students to gain professional experience in their field of study. You can earn internship credit by completing coursework online and by working for three semesters prior to graduation in paid, progressively more responsible, career-related positions.

Your Career Starts Here

  • Clarify academic and career goals
  • Receive major-specific work experience
  • Develop academic and professional skills
  • Apply classroom education to the real world
  • Gain access to professional relationships, techniques and equipment
  • Maximize earning potential and employment opportunities upon graduation

Students may only register for one internship course per semester and must have a paid, 16+ hours per week industry-related internship position arranged prior to that semester. For more information on experiential learning courses, please contact J.T. Ghim, Viviana Marrero or Suzan Bunn in Student Services, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. General information on co-ops, internships and service learning at UCF is available through the Office of Experiential Learning.
