Here is what was said about him in the nomination for Dean’s Star Award:
After a number of year’s serving as an Associate Professor, this person demonstratrd great success when taking on the leadership of the colleg’s Master’s degree program in January 2020. Although it was laready a large and successful program, he has taken the program to new heights with enrollment now standing at more than 400 students. He has proven to be a very fast learner at a time when the external envirom=nment, influenced by coronavirus COVID-19, threw him many challenges.
He has shown tremendous empathy with the graduate students, exhibited a calm demeanor witht he challend=ging admissions and administrative environment, dislayed a thirst for innovation as he seeks to make further improvements in the quality and quantity of graduate students who are recruited into the program. With a number of new courses, certificates and programs in the development and approval pipeline this year, 2020-21 is going to be another busy year. The Masters program is in very capable hands. Thank you David Kwun, you have had an excellent start to your leadership of the Rosen College Master’s program.
