As the Director of Culture and Mission Integration for Westminster Communities of Florida, Mrs. Birch provides consultation to the WCFL portfolio on Strategic Culture Planning and bringing WCFLs new mission statement to life in daily operations. In her role, she drives culture change aimed at enhancing the workplace experience for team members, develops and enhances college/university affiliations and pursues grant funding. With over 30 years in the field of aging services, she has worked in for-profit, multi-site assisted living, for-profit skilled nursing/health systems, not-for-profit Life Plan Communities, and an accreditation organization. Her passion for working with the aging population drives her desire to enhance the lives of persons served.
Mrs. Birch is a graduate of The Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University’s undergraduate Health Administration program (Long-Term Care emphasis) and holds an MBA from Lynchburg College. She is also a Nursing Home Administrator Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the State of Florida. Additionally, she holds a certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from the University of South Florida and is also a Certified Professional Aging Services Risk Manager through ECRI.
