Human Trafficking Workshop

Red Sand Project

The Red Sand Project is a participatory artwork created by Molly Gochman that uses sidewalk interventions and earthwork installations to create opportunities for people to question, connect and take action against vulnerabilities that can lead to human trafficking, modern slavery, and exploitation ~ redsandproject.org

Our anti-trafficking student group, Knights of the RELM will host this year’s Red Sand Project on the UCF Rosen College campus, at the fountain. Please join us for the event.

Polaris Star Awards

January 24, 2025; 6:00PM – 9:00PM EDT  
The Polaris Star Award’s Gala is an annual event that brings together individuals, organizations, businesses, and activists who are dedicated to combating human trafficking. This prestigious award ceremony, hosted by United Abolitionists, Inc. and the UCF Center for the Study of Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery honors and recognizes the outstanding efforts and initiatives made in the fight against modern-day slavery and exploitation. This year’s ceremony will be hosted at the UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management. The awards will be held in the Darden Auditorium. The reception will be held in the beautiful Rosen College Courtyard and the Disney Dining Room.
