Johann Krieger has worked in the hospitality industry for more than 32 years. He began as a bell stand attendant on the grand opening team for the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts in 1990. As his career progressed, he opened the 65-acre Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in 2001. Named General Manager in 2010, Johann has held multiple roles during his tenure at the resort, where he is responsible for leading more than 1,400 STARS. As General Manager, he successfully led a $58 million renovation in 2011, closely followed by the resort’s integration with Marriott International in 2012. Most recently, he oversaw a $158 million resort expansion, growing Gaylord Palms to 1,718 guest rooms and more than 500,000 square feet of meeting and event space.

Johann currently serves on the following boards: Hope Partnership, Experience Kissimmee and Central Florida Hotel and Lodging Association.

In his spare time, Johann enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, hiking and wildlife photography.
