Keith brings over three decades of progressive HR experience at The Walt Disney Company, driving change and coaching leaders at all levels across a broad base of diverse businesses including Corporate Alliances, business development, finance, IT, HR, hotels and resorts, retail banking, zoos & aquariums, theme parks, shared services, themed entertainment and events. Holding leadership and as a Senior Vice President of HR, Keith understands firsthand the unique and complex challenges leaders and employees face in balancing and achieving their personal, professional, and organizational goals and is highly competent in organizational design, talent management, organizational and employee effectiveness, and change and transition management consulting.

After retiring from Disney, Keith founded Keith Smith Consulting, a boutique HR consulting practice that offers diverse solutions to business challenges. In his practice, he helps visionary leaders create a people-centered plan to turn great ideas into implemented realities. Leveraging his rich experience of change work in one of the top brands in the world, he enjoys getting creative, collaborative leaders where they want to be by quickly aligning teams to accelerate achievement, he believes in aligning people towards a common goal.

A resident of Winter Garden, Keith is also deeply passionate about volunteering, the arts, and nonprofit leadership. He has received the President’s Volunteer Service Award over 12 times. With more than 10 years of service as a volunteer lecturer at the Rosen College of Hospitality Management and an active arts leader in the community and local government, he is deeply invested in both education and the arts. Holding a Senior Professional of HR (SPHR) Certification since 1999, a BA in Theatre, and a Masters in HR from Rollins College, he actively participates in local nonprofit board leadership and has served in leadership positions on the Orange County Arts and Cultural Affairs Council.
