Mentee of the Year Award
Dean Youcheng Wang awards the POMP Mentee of the Year a plaque and a waiver to automatically be promoted to the Peer Mentor position the following term. Also, Rosen College alumnus and former POMP member, Julien Meyer, sponsors a $500 scholarship for the award winner.
Qualifications for “Mentee of the Year” Award:
- A member that is active in the Program by attending and participating in program meetings, volunteer opportunities and social events
- Motivates other members to be excited about the Program and is involved on the Rosen and Main Campus as well as in the Community/Industry
- Enhances the productivity in meetings by engaging in discussions as well as encourage other members to be an active member
- Exemplifies the mission and goals of the Peer Outreach Mentoring Program (POMP) and demonstrates going above and beyond to make the Program, as a whole, better
