Dr. Kayode D. Aleshinloye
Biography
Kayode D. Aleshinloye, Ph.D. received a Ph.D. in Recreation, Park, & Tourism Sciences at Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas (2015) and M.S. in Tourism Management at Eastern Mediterranean University, Cyprus (2009). Prior to that, Kayode attained his Bachelor’s degree at University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria, majoring in Home Science and Management (Nutrition & Dietetics Option, 2000). He is an Assistant Professor of Event Management for the Department of Tourism, Events, and Attractions, at Rosen College of Hospitality Management, University of Central Florida.
His research interests focus on cultural festival and event management, World Heritage Sites, rural and community tourism, social and economic impact studies in developing countries, resident and tourist interactions, and sustainable tourism. Dr. Aleshinloye’s work has appeared in Tourism Management, Intl. Journal of Hospitality Management, Journal of Travel Research, Event Management, and other academic publications. He has presented his works at major national and international conferences. Kayode’s hobbies includes traveling, attending cultural festivals, soccer, and tennis. His dream is to travel to all the countries of the world.
