Global Hospitality
Leadership Program
This certificate-bearing program encompasses a three-part extracurricular mixed mode, composed of pre-academy preparation, face-to-face interactive seminars/workshops, and post-academy reflection.
Part I Pre-Academy preparation includes a review of contemporary hospitality strategies and current written wisdom, and a self-assessment component focused on leadership.
Part II Face-to-face interaction benefits participants, as they learn practical lessons about team building, global benchmarking, six sigma quality control, leading change, effective communication and the execution of strategic intent that will benefit their organizations today. Participants will use online tools to facilitate the experience at the Global Hospitality Leadership Program. Experienced, professional, industry leaders work with attendees to transform employees at all levels into more effective leaders who can energize others to accomplish corporate objectives and create tangible business results. Managers are often technically competent, but lack the ability to motivate and direct others to achieve organizational goals. An effective leadership development program addresses this issue by teaching leaders at all levels how to practice appropriate leadership behaviors and train others to do the same.
Part III Post-academy reflection will focus on work-site application via behavior reinforcement.
