Dr. Tadayuki Hara, an associate professor & senior research fellow at the Dick Pope Sr. Institute for Tourism Studies, joined the UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management in 2005 from School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University. From 2008-2010, he served as interim associate dean, and in 2010 was named associate dean of finance and administration. Before his career in academia, he spent 19 years working in global wholesale investment banking and foreign services. He offered MOOC on tourism statistics and tourism satellite accounts to global participants three times since 2013, making it as the first MOOC in tourism and hospitality management field. He teaches fully-streaming video courses.
