The second Star Award of 2020, was presented to Kathy Henry. Henry is the academic coordinator for UCF Rosen College’s Graduate Admissions & Programs. Her nomination for the award began by citing her many years of service to the university: “She has been with UCF for over 20 years ago, starting in the College of Business. She has been involved with the administration of graduate programs at the Rosen College since their inception – PhD, MS and Graduate Certificate Program.  Over the past 5 years, Henry has supported student enrollment growth of 400% with MS student enrollment this term exceeding 270, reaching 350 graduate students in total. Not only is she the advising/administrative lead, but she serves as a major counselling resource for many of our graduate students. She is dedicated, hard-working,  and spends many non-business hours at her desk. Henry has great empathy with the students, always meets key deadlines and is always pleasant and courteous to students. She offers ideas, attends all evening information sessions, attends marketing events and serves as an excellent ambassador for the Rosen College beyond the graduate programs. She has been the administrative “rock” for the graduate program team over the past five very successful but frantic years!”

Congratulations Steve and Kathy!
