Internship Instructor Honored with Dean’s Star Award for February 2020

Congratulations to Internship Instructor David Wixted. He was honored with the Dean’s Star Award for February 2020. This is the “guess who” write up that accompanied this honor:

This month’s Dean’s Star Award goes to a person that the students adore. This person is a funny comedian, cracking Dad jokes while educating the students on hospitality and tourism. This person has years of experience in food and beverage, as well as education, but his passion is in the classroom. This person always has a smile ready to greet you, and great advice to deliver.

Educating is only one of his talents

His poised confidence for one, makes him so gallant

A leader in sports, a food & beverage champion

He has two ladies as his daily companions

His routines invites all generations

His sold-out acts are magnets of admiration

This person is highly appreciated by his students and peers

He surely deserves applauses and cheers
