BIOGRAPHY
Jamie Davis is an Academic Success Coach at UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management. She provides general academic advising to all students while additionally supporting the Rosen College’s online student population from prospective inquiries through graduation.
Mrs. Davis received her Bachelor’s degree in hospitality from the University of Alabama. After receiving her degree, she briefly served in various roles within the hospitality industry. Mrs. Davis stepped away from her professional career temporarily to work in the home, caring for her husband and three children. While away from the hospitality industry, she received her Master of Science in Sport Management from Liberty University, in hopes of one day serving in sport hospitality.
In Summer 2023, she was presented with the opportunity from Dr. Mike Duignan and Ms. Jessica Wickey Byrd to serve Knights of the RELM, a new student organization tackling the topic of sustainability in mega-events, specifically sporting events. While she had no idea how she was going to contribute, she saw this as an opportunity to marry her love of sport and hospitality once again.
She was quickly introduced to human-trafficking and the pivotal work that the Center’s partners’ are doing to end human-trafficking. She assumed the role as Advisor to Knights of the RELM where she supports and guides the student members while fostering a positive and inclusive culture contributing to the overall development of student leaders.
