Brian Comes is currently the Area Vice President of Hyatt Regency Orlando, which was recently named Hyatt Hotels’ 2017 Team of the Year. In his AVP role, Brian supports seven properties in the Southeast working closely with hotel leadership and owners. Prior to his current role, Comes spent more than six years at Hyatt Regency Indianapolis where his efforts were recognized with the Hyatt General Manager of the Year Award in 2012.

During his 30 years at various Hyatt Regency properties, Comes has held a number of positions, including Director of Catering and Convention Services at Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego. Brian is involved in numerous industry boards and community organizations including: Central Florida Hotel and Lodging Association, I-Drive Resort Area Chamber of Commerce, Visit Orlando, Tourist Development Tax Advisory Review Committee, and the Rosen College of Hospitality Management Dean’s Advisory Board. A James Madison University graduate, Comes enjoys waterskiing, golfing and spending time with his family.
