David John is Chief Operating Officer of Entertainment Technology Partners (ETP), headquartered in Orlando, Florida.  ETP is the parent company to a collection of brands that provide technical, creative, design, virtual solutions and scenic services in the events & entertainment industry.  Their 9 brands operate 14 offices throughout North America and the United Kingdom.

John has worked in the film and entertainment industry for nearly 30 years including starting his career in the technical department at Walt Disney World Entertainment. Holding a B.A. degree in Film and Video Production from Penn State University, John earned his M.B.A. and M.A. in International Business from Webster University and has completed over a decade of executive education coursework from Harvard Business School and the University of Notre Dame.

John joined UCF Rosen College in 2020 as an adjunct professor teaching coursework in Entertainment Production Management and Entertainment Technology and Innovation in the Entertainment Management degree program.
