Georgia Sheffield, Hospitality Management Industry Advisory Board 2021

With over a decade of experience within the hospitality industry with Marriott, Georgia Sheffield began her hospitality career as a Night Audit Associate at the New Orleans Marriott upon graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hotel and Tourism Management from the University of Southern Mississippi. Quickly learning the Front Office Operations Georgia moved up the ranks to Rooms Operations Manager. In 2014, her interest to learn more about the Rooms Division led her to the Orlando World Center Marriott as their Senior Housekeeping Manager.

In 2015 Georgia joined the family at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes as Housekeeping Manager and over the course of her career has been successfully promoted numerous times, where she now proudly takes on the role of Assistant Rooms Executive at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes. Georgia plays an integral part in the Rooms Division with her creativity, innovation, positivity, hard work, and Southern charm. She is an amazing leader who guides, supports, and develops her team across multiple levels. Georgia’s eye for detail and excellence has been recognized several times throughout her career. Most recently Georgia was the recipient of the 2019 Product and Service Excellence Innovation Award and recognized as an Edge Leader Award Nominee for Marriott International.
