Hospitality Management
Minor

The Hospitality Management minor provides students with the foundational tools to provide exceptional guest service, which is a valuable complement to any major. This 18 credit hour minor consists of core hospitality courses that focus on developing managerial skills as well as numerous course options that explore various facets of the hospitality industry. Students can create a plan of study that supplements their major coursework as well as nurture skills needed for various career paths. View the curriculum.

The Hospitality Management minor is available to students enrolled in a major outside of the Rosen College of Hospitality Management. Students seeking Bachelor of Science degrees within Rosen College are not eligible for the Hospitality minor.

Event Management Minor

The Event Management minor provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to plan events in any field or professional setting. This 18 credit hour minor teaches students important principles and theories for managing successful events and complements many majors and career paths. View the curriculum.

The Event Management minor is open to all students as of the 2015-2016 academic year. Students seeking a Bachelor of Science degree within the Rosen College of Hospitality Management are not eligible for the Event Management minor.
